XAVIER ROCA-ARGEMI

One of two 2008 honourable mention recipients in the Ph.D. category is Xavier Roca-Argemi with his thesis entitled "Tectonic and Eustatic Controls on the Allostratigraphy and Depositional Environments of the Lower Colorado Group (Upper Albian), Central Foothills and Adjacent Plains of Alberta." His thesis work in the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Western Ontario (UWO) was supervised by Dr. Guy Plint, and supported by ExxonMobil, Anadarko Canada, Husky Oil, Talisman Energy, Devon, EnCana, NSERC, and the AAPG.
